CALGARY, Jan. 19, 2018 /CNW/ - Following a penalty hearing held on January 12, 2018, a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) imposed the following penalty on Adam William Woodward:
(a) |
A fine of $450,000; and |
(b) |
A permanent ban from registration in any capacity with IIROC. |
Mr. Woodward is also required to pay costs in the amount of $50,000.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Mr. Woodward's conduct in November 2015. The alleged violations occurred while he was a Registered Representative with the Calgary branch of Richardson GMP Limited. Mr. Woodward is no longer a registrant with an IIROC-regulated firm.
