VAUGHAN, ON, Dec. 5, 2018 /CNW/ - Empire Communities, one of North America's largest homebuilders, is celebrating one of their most prestigious award wins to date – a Gold at the World Luxury Awards. The 2018 award win for best Real Estate & Property Integrated/Mixed Media Campaign was for The Maverick Manifesto – the fully integrated marketing campaign developed to promote the launch of Empire's latest downtown Toronto condominium, Empire Maverick.
The project's marketing story was anchored around the idea of an exclusive 'Maverick' culture that set the tone and personality of the project. Four Mavericks were cast as the main characters, embodying the development's coveted lifestyle along with a set of 10 guiding principles, the Maverick Manifesto. The members of the Maverick circle are independent-minded, unorthodox, and this is their home. The campaign describes the beliefs, intentions and motives of these individuals and those tenants are then leveraged through the project's web experience, social media, email marketing and marketing tactics.

Held in Monaco, the World Luxury Award is the biggest global award recognizing the very best of creativity in luxury advertising and communication, awarding outstanding work of advertising, design and multimedia. Among the 2018 winners are brands like Valentino, Rimowa, Porsche, IWC Schaffhausen, Yves Saint Laurent, Lexus, and The Macallan.
The World Luxury Awards have 18 categories, but the only give their highest honour – a Gold Award – to the categories they feel meet their requirements. This year, there were 13 winners, with Empire Maverick being the only Gold Award winner in Real Estate.
