EcoFlow Presents DELTA Gen4 Series and RIVER Gen4 Series in Canada, Delivering Longer-Lasting Backup Power in a Smaller, Lighter Design
DELTA 3000 Gen4 brings extended backup power, 3600W output and easy portability to help Canadian households stay powered through winter storms and ice storms
SEATTLE, Nov. 4, 2026 /CNW/ -- EcoFlow, a leading provider of eco-friendly power solutions, presents the new DELTA Gen4 and RIVER Gen4 Series, a new generation of portable power stations designed to deliver longer-lasting power in smaller, lighter designs for home backup, outdoor adventures and everyday use. The DELTA Gen4 series includes the DELTA 3000 Gen4 (3072Wh) and the DELTA 3800 Gen4 (3,763Wh, expandable up to 12 kWh).
As winter storms and ice storms increase the risk of prolonged power outages, Canadian households are prioritizing energy resilience and reliability. The new lineup combines intelligent energy management, ultra-low power consumption and compact designs to help consumers get more out of every charge, keeping essential devices powered longer without unnecessary bulk.
DELTA 3000 Gen4: Backup Power for When Winter Knocks Out the Grid
High-Output Power in a Compact Design
DELTA 3000 Gen4 provides 3072Wh of capacity and 3600W of rated output, with 7200W of surge power for brief startup demands. That is enough to power up to 99% of household appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves, induction cooktops and electric heaters. X-Boost technology supports appliances requiring up to 4600W, providing additional power for high-demand essentials. Multiple outputs, including four AC outlets and a TT-30 port, let households power several devices at once.
DELTA 3000 Gen4 is the smallest and lightest 3kWh portable power station with 3600W output in its class, weighing just 26 kg (57.3 lb). Dual side handles make it easy for one person to move from the garage to the living room, or to bring along to the cottage or campsite.
Longer-Lasting Power, Even at 0%
When a storm cuts power for days, every hour of stored energy counts. The DELTA Gen4 series is designed to use less of its own energy, so more of it goes to the devices that matter.
The DELTA 3000 Gen4 draws just 14W with AC on (no load) and 3W in standby, compared with industry averages of over 20W and 10W, respectively, for up to 3x longer standby time. Best in class Fridge Runtime Boost™, reduces unnecessary energy use between refrigerator cooling cycles, helping keep food cold for 2–3 days during an outage. With Fridge Runtime Boost enabled, DELTA 3000 Gen4 can keep a refrigerator running for up to 58 hours.
With the 3600W of rated output, DELTA 3000 Gen4 can run higher-power appliances such as a space heater when needed, though heavier loads use stored energy faster. Prioritizing essentials like the refrigerator, lights, Wi-Fi and phone charging helps stretch the stored energy through a longer outage.
The series also introduces industry-first[1] Emergency Power Mode™ in portable power stations, which maintains a small reserve of emergency DC power for critical devices, such as phones, even when the displayed battery level reaches 0%, so it is still possible to charge a phone to send a message or call for help. DELTA 3000 Gen4 can charge an iPhone 17 from 0% to over 80% in this mode. For added peace of mind, the DELTA Gen4 series retains 99% of its battery charge after one year of storage, thanks to automotive-grade LFP cells and a design that minimizes self-discharge, ensuring backup power is ready even after extended storage.
Fast, Flexible Charging for Longer Outages
DELTA 3000 Gen4 supports four charging methods (AC, generator, solar and alternator charging) and reaches a full charge via AC in under two hours, so it can be topped up quickly whenever the grid is back. If an outage drags on, households can recharge from a generator or their vehicle's alternator to keep power going. A 10ms UPS switchover helps keep connected electronics running the moment grid power is interrupted, providing an additional layer of protection during unexpected outages.
DELTA 3800 Gen4: More Capacity for Larger Homes and Longer Outages
For larger households or longer-duration needs, DELTA 3800 Gen4 offers 3763Wh of capacity and is expandable up to 12kWh. It delivers the same 3600W rated output and 7200W surge power as DELTA 3000 Gen4, along with the same low power draw, and is the smallest and lightest 4kWh portable power station in its class at 30.6 kg (67.5 lb). It supports six charging methods (AC, generator, solar, alternator charging, solar + alternator charging and solar + generator) and reaches a full charge via AC in under 2.5 hours. DELTA 3800 Gen4 offers more capacity per pound than competing products[1]. With Fridge Runtime Boost enabled, DELTA 3800 Gen4 can keep a refrigerator running for up to 70 hours, 17 hours longer than comparable competing products in the industry[1].
RIVER Gen4 Series: Compact, Versatile Power for Home and On the Go
Ultra-Compact Power
Showcased at EcoFlow's 2026 New Product Launch Event in Miami Beach on November 4, alongside the DELTA Gen4 Series, the new RIVER Gen4 Series features the RIVER 260 Gen4 and RIVER 520 Gen4. Built with EcoFlow's proprietary stacking technology, the series delivers reliable power in ultra-compact designs for camping, outdoor adventures, everyday use and essential home backup. Weighing just over 6 lbs., RIVER 260 Gen4 delivers 256Wh of capacity and 300W output in a design that is 32% smaller than the industry average, while RIVER 520 Gen4 packs 512Wh of capacity and 500W output into a 10-lb. design that is 54% smaller than the industry average. Both feature removable carrying straps for easy portability.
Smarter, Longer-Lasting Power
Designed to make stored power last longer, RIVER Gen4 uses intelligent power management to minimize unnecessary battery drain, drawing just 6.6W with AC on load and 1W in standby. Both models support four charging methods (AC, USB-C, solar and alternator), recharging from 0–80% in as little as 42 minutes for RIVER 260 Gen4 and 50 minutes for RIVER 520 Gen4. Multiple AC and USB ports, including 140W bidirectional USB-C, allow users to power several devices at once, from laptops to photography equipment.
