TORONTO, Nov. 24 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, November 25, the George Brown College Chowder winners will be celebrated at the George Brown Alumni Lunch at the Duke of Westminster pub.
Students from George Brown College's Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts competed in a chowder contest. Each student had to create their chowder on a limited budget and the recipe had to include an Alexander Keith's beer as an ingredient. The top three chowders were chosen on Wednesday, October 21 by a panel of judges at the George Brown College restaurant, The Chefs' House.
The top three winners will receive their awards during the George Brown Alumni Luncheon.
1st Place: Devin Shanks
