CALGARY, June 10, 2013 /CNW/ - DualEx Energy International Inc. ("DualEx" or the "Company") (DXE, TSX-V) today announced that it has commenced drilling the BHN-1 well on the Bouhajla Permit in Tunisia. The well spudded on June 8, 2013 and is currently drilling surface hole at a depth of 325 metres. BHN-1 is the first exploration well on the Bouhajla Permit, and is planned to be drilled to a total depth of 2,545 metres in order to evaluate a Cretaceous Abiod oil target on the Bouhajla North prospect. The well is expected to take four to six weeks to reach total depth.

"We're extremely pleased to announce the spudding of BHN-1, as it represents a potential game-changer for our Company, and is the result of several years of perseverance and hard work by our team," said Garry Hides, President & CEO of DualEx.

The Bouhajla North prospect is believed to be geologically analogous to the Sidi el Kilani oilfield, which has produced approximately 48 million barrels of light oil to date. Sidi el Kilani is located twenty-five kilometers to the east of the Bouhajla North prospect.
