TORONTO , Jan. 19 /CNW/ - Diversified Private Equity Corp. (the "Company") provides the following summary of operations for the quarter ended December 15, 2009 . The Company provides holders of the Company's shares with tax efficient exposure to the total return of a portfolio of securities consisting of ten firms specializing in private equity investments that are publicly traded in North America and ten firms specializing in private equity investments that are publicly traded in Europe .

At December 15, 2009 , the net asset value per share was $3.99 as compared to $3.80 at September 15, 2009 , representing an increase of 5.00%. The net asset value per share as at January 18, 2010 was $4.17 .

The Company's shares are listed for trading on the TSX under the symbol PEQ.
