HALIFAX, Jan. 14, 2015 /CNW/ - DHX Media Ltd. ("DHX" or the "Company") (TSX: DHX.A, DHX.B), a key player internationally in the creation of content for families and children, is pleased to announce it has received 21 nominations for the 2015 Canadian Screen Awards, as announced yesterday by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Nominated in categories from writing to directing to performance for both live action and animated work, top-performing DHX series Degrassi, The Next Step, This Hour Has 22 Minutes and Slugterra are among the programs being celebrated.
