Dessau Clarifies Bernard Trépanier Issue

MONTREAL, March 26, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Dessau Inc. would like to clarify the situation regarding professional fees that were paid by the company to Mr. Bernard Trépanier and his firm, Bermax.

Dessau's management, including its President and CEO, Mr. Jean-Pierre Sauriol, were informed of these payments during the testimony given by Mr. Rosaire Sauriol at the Charbonneau Commission on Thursday, March 21.

The Commission requested that Mr. Rosaire Sauriol present copies of all invoices directly from Mr. Trépanier or his organization, Bermax, which had been paid by Dessau.

With the exception of Mr. Rosaire Sauriol, no member of Dessau's management had been aware of any of these payments or the nature of the services rendered.

The firm learned of the scope of the payments when it carried out its investigation into the matter, as requested by the Commission on Friday, March 22.

The requested documents were submitted to the Commission on Monday, March 25.

Mr. Rosaire Sauriol resigned from his position as Senior Vice President that same day.
