Delegates From Around the World Gather for First-Ever G(irls)20 Summit
TORONTO, June 7 /CNW/ - On June 16th, the first-ever G(irls)20 Summit will kick off in Toronto just before the world's leaders gather for the G20 Summit.
Modelled after the G20, the G(irls)20 Summit will bring together one girl from each of the 20 countries to discuss how girls and women can help solve some of the world's greatest challenges. A seat has also been allocated for a girl representing the African Union.
Between June 16th and 18th, the delegates will work together to develop tangible solutions to global challenges. From the 19th to the 25th, they will participate in various workshops addressing problem solving, mentorship and leadership, financial literacy, media relations, government relations and how to utilize social media and technology to communicate globally.
