Definitive Consulting Services names Lucy Gervasi as Director, Tax, Client
and Consulting Services

TORONTO, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - Definitive Consulting Services (Definitive), Canada's preeminent sales tax solutions provider, announced today the appointment of Lucy Gervasi, CA, to the position of Director, Tax, Client and Consulting Services. 

In this role, Lucy will be responsible for providing technical support and resources to our client and consulting services teams, using her valuable practical industry experience to assist with managing audits, voluntary disclosures and other tax compliance related matters.  Lucy will report to Christina Zurowski, CA, Senior Director, Tax, Client and Consulting Services.

Lucy's experience includes more than twenty years of practice in accounting, income and commodity tax in a wide range of industries, including commercial goods manufacturing, retail and services.  In her previous position, Lucy was the in-house commodity tax expert for a large Canadian life sciences company with international operations, where she advised the organization on global commodity tax matters, including complex issues in Canadian sales tax, U.S. state sales and use tax and VAT. Prior to this, Lucy was a Manager, Client Support in a well-known professional services firm specializing in Canadian sales taxes.
