December 4th Concert to Assist Ottawa's Youth Drug Addiction Program
What: A Christmas Concert, Heralding Christmas, with headliner: the
People's Gospel Choir of Montreal, led by Kim Sherwood.

Also joining the choir:
* Multi-talented Jeremiah Sparks. A Nova Scotia native, he's
worked as an actor, singer and composer.
Next week, he's in the cast of A Christmas Carol that opens
Dec. 8 at the National Arts Centre.
* Ottawa's Maria Hawkins. She's a soul singer, educator and
motivational speaker.

Where: Christ Church Cathedral, 420 Sparks St. at Bronson. Street and
lot parking, or, take any of the buses running along Albert
Street or Slater Street.
When: Friday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m.
Why: This concert is not only a salute to the season; it recognizes a
need in our community. Part of the proceeds, including half of
the concert's Platinum Ticket sales, will go to the Ottawa
Bytown Rotary Club to help support the Rotary Youth Drug
Addiction Program and project s.t.e.p.
Project s.t.e.p. addresses the need for residential addiction
treatment, education and prevention for young people from 13 to
17. Ottawa does not have a residential treatment facility for
teens.
Tickets: Students $15, Silver $25, Gold $45
Platinum tickets at $100 include a $50 tax receipt from the
Rotary Club and a Post-concert reception.
