DATA Group Ltd. Report On Voting Results

ANNUAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
JUNE 4, 2015

BRAMPTON, ON, June 5, 2015 /CNW/ - DATA Group Ltd. (the "Corporation" or "DATA Group") (TSX: DGI) today announced that the annual meeting (the "Meeting") of the shareholders of the Corporation was held on June 4, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario. 37 Shareholders holding a total of 8,413,419 common shares of the Corporation were represented at the Meeting in person or by proxy, representing approximately 35.82% of the total votes attached to all issued and outstanding common shares of the Corporation as of the record date on April 27, 2015.

Election of Directors

All six directors proposed for election at the Meeting were elected. Rod Phillips and Harinder Takhar were elected by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders present or represented by proxy at the meeting. Mr. Phillips and Mr. Takhar will remain in office until the next annual meeting of shareholders or until his successor is elected or appointed. William Albino, Michael Blair, Michael Sifton and J.R. Kingsley Ward were also elected as directors of the Corporation at the Meeting.  However, a majority of the votes cast at the Meeting were withheld against each of those four individuals.

Under the terms of the Corporation's Majority Voting Policy, any director that has more votes withheld than are voted in favour of him or her is expected to tender their resignation to the Board. In accordance with the Majority Voting Policy, the Board will, within 90 days following the Meeting, determine whether to accept or reject any resignation tendered.

Pending a determination with respect to any such resignations, the Board intends to supervise the management of the business and affairs of the Corporation in the ordinary course. Management of the Corporation, including Michael Sifton, President and Chief Executive Officer, Paul O'Shea, Chief Financial Officer and James Lorimer, Interim Chief Financial Officer, remain focused on the Corporation's strategic plan.

Appointment of Auditors

The resolution to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accounts, as auditors of the Corporation, to hold office until the next annual meeting of shareholders of the Corporation or until their successors are appointed and to authorize the directors to fix the auditor's remuneration, was adopted on a vote by show of hands by a majority of the votes cast by the shareholders present or represented by proxy.  The votes cast by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting for the appointment of the auditors were as follows:
