TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2017 /CNW/ - Today, Cymat Technologies Ltd. ("Cymat") announced that it has received an order for over 5,000 m2 of coated AlusionTM aluminum foam panels to be installed on an Amsterdam building façade. The Steltloper Building is an eighteen-floor high-rise designed by DAM & Partners Architechen. It is located on the waterfront of the trendy Eastern Docklands district of Amsterdam, an area that is known for its cluster of innovative architectural designs.
Before their selection for the Steltoper project, the coated AlusionTM panels successfully completed rigorous testing regimens pertaining to salt-spray and wind-load resistance. The Steltloper project's order value is in excess of $CAD 1.25 million. Production of the AlusionTM panels will commence within the month, and the delivery of the final batch of panels is anticipated for early Spring of 2018. This order comes on the heels of the Pace Art Gallery project, an eight-floor façade AlusionTM order currently being installed in the Chelsea neighbourhood of Manhattan.
