TORONTO , Sept. 23 /CNW/ - Last night's LAW & ORDER: SVU season premiere handcuffed the premiere of THE GOOD WIFE (Global/CBS, 1.39 million) winning its timeslot nationally in all key demos, as 1.44 million viewers tuned in to watch the episode on CTV at 10 p.m.

    -   Kicking off the night at 8 p.m., the homegrown hit SO YOU THINK YOU
        CAN DANCE CANADA retained an impressive 88% of its previous week's
        audience with 1.3 million viewers and won the night with the key
        female 18-34 demo, delivering 7% more viewers in the demo than the
        premiere of NCIS (GLOBAL).

    -   The LAW & ORDER: SVU premiere won key demos nationally against THE
        GOOD WIFE by 58% (A18-34), 52% (A18-49) and 39% (A25-54)

    -   LAW & ORDER: SVU also won the key demos A18-34 and A18-49 in all
        markets, including Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver

    -   Last night's premiere of THE MENTALIST, in a one time only Tuesday at
        9 p.m. timeslot, delivered 1.42 million total viewers, four times
        higher than last year's season premiere*. In addition, THE
        MENTALIST bested the premiere of NCIS L.A. amongst female demos F18-
        34, F18-49 and F25-54.
