CTV Warms Up for Vancouver 2010 with Olympic-Themed Programming, Feb. 6

TORONTO, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - With just 10 days before the start of the VANCOUVER 2010 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES, and excitement mounting, CTV gets viewers into Games shape with six hours of Olympic Games-themed programming this Saturday. Highlighting the programming block is the new hour-long original documentary ON HOME ICE, premiering Saturday, February 6 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV. Produced by Aquila Productions in association with Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, the documentary takes viewers behind-the-scenes and inside the selection process of this year's Team Canada, revealing candid moments and surprising never-before-seen footage.

ON HOME ICE is the fourth of four original programs to air February 6 on CTV, including ATHLETES IN MOTION (4 p.m. ET), Part 2 of SID THE KID V. ALEXANDER THE GREAT: THE OLYMPIANS (5 p.m. ET), and THE GREAT TOURNAMENT (7 p.m. ET). The Jamaican Bobsleigh team takes a chance at Calgary 1988 in Cool Runnings at 9 p.m. ET (airing in HD) while the cult classic hockey flick Slap Shot rounds out the night at (February 7 at 12 a.m. ET).
