TORONTO , Sept. 25 /CNW/ - It's Must-CTV Thursday again as an astounding 3.28 million Canadians tuned-in to GREY'S ANATOMY last night, making it the No. 1 program of the day. The much-anticipated two-hour premiere won the 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. timeslots in all demos, not only nationally but in the key markets of Toronto and Vancouver .

With 2.5 million viewers, the premiere of CSI saw an increase of 49% over last season's finale broadcast*, finishing No. 2 in the 8 p.m. timeslot and threatening to push past SURVIVOR. In Calgary , it was the No. 1 program of the day with total viewers and adults (18-49 and 25-54).

    -   GREY'S ANATOMY premiere surged to series high, with 3.28 million
        total viewers tuning in last night. Crushing the competition, the
        premiere was 38% higher than last year's season debut*.

    -   VAMPIRE DIARIES, airing out of simulcast last night at 7 p.m. on CTV,
        retained a healthy 95% of last week's simulcast audience with A18-34.

    -   the 9 p.m. timeslot, 877,000 total viewers tuned in to FRINGE on /A\,
        ranking No. 2 behind GREY'S ANATOMY and ahead of THE OFFICE on Global
        (762,000).

    -   On /A\, the season's most anticipated new series, FLASHFORWARD,
        established itself in all key markets, delivering 725,000 viewers for
        its debut broadcast.
