Crowns Agency grows leadership and strategic team to better serve cannabis clientele

Collectively, they bring more than four decades experience to the Crowns team. Their diverse backgrounds serve Crowns' unique format — they herald from marketing, agency, journalism, and politics. But they share an obsession: cracking the cannabis marketing code for Crowns' clients and partners.
This team brings creative, communications, and management skills to the organization's deep talent pool. Their track record of innovation means they will help clients build delightful brand experiences within the bounds of regulatory constraint.
Crowns is pleased to announce that Lezlie Grossman, Dominic Smith, and Ashley Csanady have joined their growing team.
Lezlie Grossman carries a great depth of experience in marketing, strategy, and content. This spans across boutique and multinational agencies, traditional and digital marketing. Lezlie has a track record of delivery brand and content strategies for tier-one clients, such as Walmart, Nike, Pepsi-Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, to name a few. Her experience means she's ready to serve Crowns clients no matter which aspect of cannabis they are seeking to reign over. Mostly recently, Lezlie was an executive vice-president and managing director with J. Walter Thompson. She joins Crowns as its client engagement officer.
Dominic Smith comes to Crowns from Idea Couture, an innovation agency. He has a track record of producing smart, innovative copy both in and out of an agency setting. Dominic is an innovator whose past work includes developing a new model for creative agencies — precisely the kind of codebreaking at which Crowns excels. His experience in content production, brand strategy and business-to-business services will serve clients who looking to build brands that stand the test of time. Dominic joins Crowns as a brand strategist.
Ashley Csanady joins Crowns from the world of politics and journalism. Her understanding of the contemporary media landscape, creative skills and strategic insights will serve Crowns' clients looking to break through the noise of legalization. She mostly recently served as a senior writer to former Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, and prior to that as a journalist with the National Post. Her work has also appeared on the CBC, Vice News, TorStar's Queen's Park Briefing and the Waterloo Region Record, among other publications. She joins Crowns as its director of strategy and content.
