WENDAKE, QC, April 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Huron-Wendat Nation Grand Chief Konrad Sioui, the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec & Labrador Chief Ghislain Picard, Ms. Michele Audette and Ms. Viviane Michel, instigators of the AMUN March, invite the media representatives to a press conference to be held on Tuesday, May 4th, at 11: 00 am in Wendake. For this occasion, The First Nations will proceed with the AMUN March kickoff (500 km from Wendake to Ottawa) to pursue the fight that was undertaken by Sharon McIvor, and to request that the Canadian Government resolve the injustices of the Indian Act.
