Corton Capital Inc. Announces Public Launch of Corton Theta™ Alpha Fund

TORONTO, Sept. 9, 2026 /CNW/ -- Corton Capital Inc. ("Corton"), an investment management firm, is pleased to announce the expansion of its suite of actively-managed funds with the public launch of the Class ETF Units of the Corton Theta™ Alpha Fund (the "ETF"). The investment objective of the ETF is to generate superior investment returns over the long-term through capital appreciation and income. To achieve this objective, the ETF will invest primarily in listed North American securities and related options. The ETF's portfolio will be actively managed utilizing fundamental, technical and quantitative investment strategies. The ETF may take core positions in North American securities and will implement an active written options overlay in related securities.

The ETF closed its offering of Class ETF Units effective as of August 28, 2026 through the redesignation of all of its outstanding Class A units and Class F units into Class ETF Units (prior to its public launch, the ETF was previously only offered on a private placement basis as a pooled fund).  The Class ETF Units are expected to commence trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") today under the ticker symbol "TPUT". Corton is the manager, trustee and promoter of the ETF.
