Corrosion and Abrasion Solutions Ltd. (CASL) acquires Continental Cylinder Inc.
EDMONTON, April 1, 2015 /CNW/ - Corrosion and Abrasion Solutions Ltd. (CASL) is pleased to announce that CASL has concluded a definitive agreement to acquire Continental Cylinder Inc. (CCI) effective immediately.
Terry Freeman, CASL Board Chair said "We are very excited to welcome the CCI team to the CASL family of companies. The combination of CCI with our existing Inotec business will make CASL a leader in corrosion solutions technologies and services using metals. Continental Cylinder, Inc. (CCI) is a leader in the repair or remanufacture of hydraulic components including cylinders and swivels for all mobile equipment in construction, crane and mining applications, including the largest shovel and off-highway trucks in the Alberta oil sands.
Scott McLaughlan and his leadership team will continue to be integral parts of the CCI group as well as the growth and development of the CASL Metals business unit.
