Correction: ShaMaran Announces Share Capital Update

VANCOUVER, Feb. 4, 2019 /CNW/ - ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. ("ShaMaran" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: SNM) (Nasdaq First North: SNM) has been required by Nasdaq First North to issue this correction to its January 31, 2019 news release to include the telephone number and email address of its certified advisor, Pareto Securities AB. The Company reports the following share capital and voting rights update in accordance with the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act.

As a result of the issuance in January 2019 of 2,000,000 common shares to Nemesia S.à.r.l., in connection with the previously disclosed Liquidity Guarantee provided in connection with the Company's July 2018 bond issue, the number of issued and outstanding shares of the Company is 2,160,631,534 common shares with voting rights.
