COMPAREX Canada is pleased to announce its corporate sponsorship for the Young Enterprising Women in STEM Awards. This is the first time a Canadian student has been a part of this significant American event. The Young Enterprising Women in STEM Awards takes place April 2 – 4th at the Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Enterprising Women Foundation Mentoring Program provides high school girls with an opportunity to meet and connect with outstanding female entrepreneurs and leaders in STEM-based fields and other industries. This event recognizes their leadership potential, inspires them to dream big and focuses on the next steps to realize their potential.
Nafisa Ahmed, senior student at Jarvis Collegiate, is this year's scholarship recipient after winning the essay contest. Her sights are set on becoming an Environmental Engineer and improving water quality in India. "This will be an amazing experience for me as I will get to meet some incredible women. I'm so excited!"
