CAMBRIDGE, ON, March 2 /CNW/ - COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX:CDV), a leading manufacturer of space hardware subsystems, today announced that it has been awarded a contract valued in excess of US$6 million to provide switches, filters and multiplexers for a commercial communications satellite. The Company expects to complete work on the contract within the first half of calendar 2011 at its facility in Cambridge, Ontario.
This is the first follow-on contract resulting from an agreement announced January 7, 2010, under which COM DEV provided the customer with pricing terms for equipment on three satellites.
