Collins Barrow sends contest winners to championship game with Darcy Tucker
TORONTO, May 26, 2017 /CNW/ - Collins Barrow is pleased to announce the winners of their "Be A Challenger: What's your why?" contest. Darren Cargill, from Windsor, and two lucky friends will head to the Mastercard Memorial Cup Championship Game on May 28, joined by pro-hockey icon, Darcy Tucker.
Canadians across the country participated in Collins Barrow's "Be A Challenger" contest, by sharing on social media why they choose to be challengers in their daily lives. A well-known challenger on the ice, Tucker was a Memorial Cup champion himself, before his long-time pro-hockey career, playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche. He will accompany the winner of the grand prize tickets to the junior hockey final in Windsor, Ontario.
As well as highlighting the Mastercard Memorial Cup with the "Be A Challenger" contest, Collins Barrow is a proud national and local sponsor of the hockey tournament. Three additional prizes, of hockey jerseys signed by Tucker, were given away during the contest. Visitors to beachallenger.ca also enjoyed campaign videos and were able to download a free e-book.
"Our ongoing series of "Be A Challenger" videos and contests celebrate the ethos of what drives Collins Barrow – a challenger mindset that strives for excellence. Thank you to all who participated and warm congratulations to the winners!" said Doug Kroetch, Collins Barrow National Chair.
"It's an absolute pleasure to continue to partner with Collins Barrow, spreading the word about our "Be A Challenger" campaign, as well as supporting our homegrown sport of junior hockey. I look forward to cheering on these young Canadian athletes with our winners at the Championship Game," said Darcy Tucker.
