VANCOUVER, April 20, 2015 /CNW/ - For the fifth consecutive year, COBS Bread has received the Franchisees' Choice designation at the 2015 Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Awards of Excellence in Franchising. COBS Bread also received the silver award for Excellence in Franchise Achievement.
"These awards are very special to COBS Bread, especially the Franchisees' Choice award which is based on feedback from our own bakeries," said Daniel Graham, Director of Business Development for COBS Bread. "We are especially proud this year of our business and our franchisees as we continue to expand and welcome new franchisees to the COBS Bread family."
Franchisees' Choice designees are CFA member franchise systems who voluntarily took part in an independently-administered survey. Their franchisees were asked to rate the franchisor in key areas of the franchise business model.
COBS Bread received the bronze award for Excellence in Franchise Achievement in both 2010 and 2012. CFA Awards of Excellence in Franchising is the highest recognition a franchise system can receive from the CFA. "I have always felt the support of COBS Bread in every decision I have made," says Shelly Snure, franchisee of the Terminal Park bakery in Nanaimo, BC. Snure has been with COBS Bread since 2006 and started as an Assistant Bakery Manager.
COBS Bread currently has bakeries in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario with plans to expand into new markets with a continued focus on franchised bakeries.
