HOUSTON , Nov. 4 /CNW/ - Coastal Energy Company (the "Company" or "Coastal") (TSX-V: CEN, AIM: CEO), an independent exploration and production company with assets in Thailand , announces that it was notified today of the following transaction of ordinary shares in the Company:

Mr. Oscar S. Wyatt , Jr. transferred 1,000,000 shares from his personal holdings to CEC Ventures L.P., a limited partnership of which he is the general partner. Mr. Randy L. Bartley , President and Chief Executive Officer of Coastal, and Mr. Bernard de Combret, Chairman of the Board of Coastal, are each limited partners of CEC Ventures, L.P.

In a separate transaction, Mr. Wyatt transferred 500,000 shares from his personal holdings to Mr. Bartley . Mr. Wyatt made the transfer to Mr. Bartley to further align his interests with that of the Company and its shareholders.
