Clothesline® campaign "Life's a trip, you're the pilot" gives chance to win family getaway to Walt Disney® World

TORONTO, Jan. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Did Santa bring you a new wardrobe and you need to make space in your closet?  Or perhaps you are unsure what to do with gifts you do not intend to use.

Clothesline® is here with the solution and a chance to win a trip for four to Walt Disney® World.  Starting January 10 and running through to March 10, "Life's a trip, you're the pilot," invites all Canadians to donate their gently used clothing, small household items and electronics and be entered into a national draw to win a Disney® family getaway.

There are three convenient ways to give and be entered into the Disney® family getaway:

  1. Call 1-800-505-5525, schedule your free pick-up, mention the word "TRIP", and complete your donation.
  2. Visit, schedule your free pick-up from your home (and complete the scheduled donation).
  3. Visit, locate the nearest Clothesline® office and bring your donation directly to us (receive an entry for each bag donated).*

There is no limit to the number of entries received, so contact Clothesline® today and give often!  Clothesline® happily accepts gently used clothing, all cloth-based items, shoes, boots, books, toys, electronics and much more.  Visit for full contest and program details.

"We are very proud to celebrate more than 27 years of service in more than 1,000 communities across Canada," said Janelle Robertson, Vice President, Clothesline®.  "We continue to offer new and convenient ways for Canadians to make a positive difference in the lives of the more than nine million Canadians living with diabetes or prediabetes."

*Some conditions apply, please visit for full contest details.
