Claude Galipeau Appointed Country Manager of Yahoo! Canada

TORONTO, Aug. 2, 2013 /CNW/ - Yahoo! Canada announced today the appointment of Claude Galipeau as Country Manager for Yahoo! Canada. Galipeau will be responsible for sales and operations for Yahoo! Canada and will be based in Toronto.

A veteran in Canada's digital media industry, Galipeau brings to Yahoo! Canada extensive experience in multi-platform media with expertise in content, product, sales, marketing, business affairs and policy functions. Galipeau has worked with some of the world's biggest media and consumer brand companies. Notably, he has held management positions at Rogers Media, Astral Media, Alliance Atlantis Communications, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He is on the board of the Banff World Media Festival and Interactive Ontario. Galipeau holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
