CIMA Conference to Lead Discussion on Productivity

TORONTO, Oct. 25, 2013 /CNW/ - CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) is set to host an innovative discussion on the issue of Productivity. The conference, which is sponsored by TD Bank Group, will bring together global business leaders, journalists and political leaders to discuss productivity in Canada, from a business and finance perspective.

CIMA President Malcolm Furber, FCMA, CGMA will deliver the opening remarks. He will be followed by the key note speaker, Craig Alexander, Senior Vice President & Chief Economist, TD Bank Group. Canadian Finance Minister, Jim Flaherty MP, will provide a written address to the conference.

Following the key note speech, there will be a round table discussion with experts on productivity including, Ken Jones, Dean Emeritus at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Pavi Binning President of George Weston Limited, Bill Currie, Americas Managing Director and Vice Chair, Deloitte Canada, Andy Robling, Vice President, Hays Recruiting Experts Worldwide, John Ruffolo, CEO, OMERS Ventures and Tahira Hassan, Non executive Director, Brambles Limited.
