MONTREAL, May 31, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Quebec-based clothing manufacturer and retailer Chlorophylle is proud to announce its official relaunch following a positive vote during its Creditors Assembly held this morning in Chicoutimi. 99% of its creditors approved the proposal that the company presented to them on May 12th. Chlorophylle first submitted its intention to make a proposal to its creditors under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) on December 1, 2015. In mid-May, the company launched its new Spring-Summer collection and campaign in its 14 stores across Quebec, which was a key step to ensuring its future.
"We are thrilled with the result of our Creditors Assembly because we can now officially ensure Chlorophylle's relaunch and focus on the development of our upcoming collections," expressed Marc Tremblay, President of Chlorophylle. "I invite all Quebecers to discover our new Spring-Summer collection, which is now available for home delivery across the country."
To ensure its success, Chlorophylle aims to focus on its 14 stores across Quebec since they enable the company to interact directly with customers and get their feedback in order to adapt future collections to their specific needs. Chlorophylle also plans to develop new wholesale partnerships in order to distribute its products at other retail outlets across Canada. This represents an important distribution channel for the company's future growth.
