CALGARY, March 12, 2012 /CNW/ -
|WHO:|| Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) Chief Economist Michael Hatch
|WHAT:|| CADA Chief Economist available for interviews to comment on the current state of play in the Alberta retail automotive market ahead of the Calgary International Auto Show.
|WHY:|| For Alberta's new car dealers, last year represented a solid recovery from the downturn of 2008 and 2009. Ahead of this year's Calgary International Auto Show, the mood in the industry is very positive. So far, new vehicle sales in 2012 have been incredibly robust and the market is on pace for an all-time best sales year. This high level of demand is driven primarily by a renewal of consumer confidence and a continuation of record affordability in the new vehicle marketplace.
