The Main Viaduct reconstruction worksite
In 2014, JCCBI carried out in phase 1 the demolition and reconstruction of the south section of the Main Viaduct. Phase 2 will take place this year on the north section.
Phase 2 will require occasional night closures, but no long-term closure will affect the A-15. Numerous efforts were made during the planning phase in order to maintain the number of lanes currently open on the A-15, namely two lanes in each direction throughout the work.
The size of the worksite will however require that the lanes be deviated and narrowed near the worksite located on the A-15.
To better understand the different phases of the worksite, please watch this video, which also explains the reconstruction of Viaducts N and V.
