Award-Winning Publication Taps Centerplate for "Best Food and Beverage" Honors
STAMFORD, Conn., Aug. 1, 2012 /CNW/ - The awards continue to pile up for Centerplate, America's leading event hospitality partner, as America's leading convention management organization today recognized Centerplate with not one, but two "Best of Show" honors for "Best Food and Beverage." Convene, the official publication of the Professional Convention Managers Association today released the results of its inaugural "Best of Show" issue honoring the best meetings industry venues, destinations, and service providers in 10 categories, as voted on by Convene's readers and editors.

All told, "Convene" honored five venues in the "Best of Show, Best Food and Beverage" category. Only two of the five venues were convention centers, both of which were Centerplate partner properties.
Convene editor, Michelle Russell emphasized that, with these awards, the award-winning publication is recognizing the most innovative players in the event hospitality industry.
