Cash Store Financial declares quarterly dividend of CAD $0.06 per share
EDMONTON, Aug. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - The Cash Store Financial Services Inc. ("Cash Store Financial" or the "Company") (TSX: CSF; NYSE: CSFS) today declared a quarterly dividend of CAD $0.06 per common share. The dividend is payable on September 7, 2012, to shareholders of record on August 24, 2012. This represents an annualized yield of 5.9% based on the closing price of the Company's common stock on August 10, 2012.
"We have elected to maintain the current level of dividends for the quarter, as we have begun to see the improved financial results and continue to invest in our future growth," commented Mr. Gordon Reykdal, Chairman and CEO of Cash Store Financial. "The board of directors reviews the dividend quarterly, assessing the capital needs of the company and financial performance."
Since fiscal 2009, Cash Store Financial has provided regular returns to shareholders by way of dividends, as follows:
- For the nine months ended June 30, 2012, CAD $5.2 million.
- For the year ended September 30, 2011, CAD $7.9 million.
- For the 15 months ended September 30, 2010, CAD $9.1 million.
- In fiscal 2009, $5.3 million in dividends.
