CARP's new vison of aging explores travel

HALIFAX, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - Estate planing, health matters and pensions have been the serious subjects explored for "50 plusers" at CARP's (Canadian Association of Retired Persons) special evenings this past season.

However, the event planned for Thursday, February 18, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm at Holiday Inn Harbour View, 101 Wyse Road, Dartmouth N.S. is ideal to lift all from the "winter blahs." The evening will explore Travel-exotic, domestic and touring.

It is sponsored and presented by the national agency Carlson, Wagonlit, Brooks Travel (CWT) who are experts and knowledgeable of CARP's demographic travel needs.

Special speakers include: CWT's president Kathleen Houlihan, who will outline her company's relationship with CARP and the latest travel trends and opportunities.

Other speakers are: Ken Nickerson, the Quebec and Atlantic manger of CWT and the AMA Waterway representative, Sandra Gardiner, who will outline two great travel experiences-touring and river cruising.
