CARP: Throne speech must address pension crisis

TORONTO, Jan. 11 /CNW/ - Fixing the pension crisis requires bold political leadership and cannot wait until spring. CARP is calling on the government to include pension reform in its Throne Speech on March 3, 2010.

Canada's Finance Ministers meeting in December 2009 produced nothing more than an agreement to look at the issue again in May 2010.
