Caroline Rhea Stars in Hilarious New Campaign Encouraging Parents to Save Towards Children's Post-Secondary Education
TORONTO, June 15, 2016 /CNW/ - Money is no laughing matter when it comes to paying for a university degree or college diploma, which is why Canadian Actor and Comedian Caroline Rhea is getting serious about post-secondary education. Caroline takes the lead in a hilarious new digital ad campaign with Heritage Education Funds.
Best known for her hit role as Aunt Hilda in the sitcom "Sabrina The Teenage Witch", Caroline Rhea has been stretching her comedic skills in another direction. As the face of Heritage Education Funds' new #MyLittleDreamer digital campaign, Caroline stars in a playful and cheeky series of five, one-minute digital video ads, interacting with various "young" professionals as she goes about her day.

Caroline was thrilled with the new partnership, stating, "As a mother, I know there's nothing funny about a university tuition, which is why I began saving for my daughter when she was just weeks old. I'm glad to share my knowledge and encourage other parents to start planning early. Not only is it beneficial for the child, but the Heritage eGifting program also helps take the financial burden off the parents, and I mean, who doesn't love that!"
Heritage president and CEO, Jason Maguire, agrees: "Caroline is right on the money when she stresses the importance of contributing early," he adds. "We went with a humourous approach in this campaign to build interest, but it really is a critical thing for young families to learn when starting an RESP. "
The #MyLittleDreamer Campaign kicks off June 15th on YouTube, the Google Video Display Network, Twitter, and Facebook. Calling on parents to submit 15 – 30 second video clips of their children sharing ideas about what they want to be when they grow up -- for a chance to win over $8,000 in prizing!
