Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada Celebrates 32nd Annual WALK OF LIFE

The goal is to raise more than half a million dollars to prevent and recover from heart disease the world's number ONE killer!

TORONTO, May 24, 2016 /CNW/ - On Saturday May 28, 2016 more than 2,500 Torontonians will participate in the WALK OF LIFE - Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada's annual event.

"Studies have found that up to 80% of heart disease & stroke is preventable by adopting healthy choices & procuring appropriate medical care"  said Leo DelZotto, President, Cardiac Health Foundation Of Canada. "Funds raised will support cardiovascular rehab programs, scholarships, medical equipment, patient educational material and facilities at 30 hospitals and clinics across Canada. In addition, four cardiac health related charitable organizations will benefit from the funds raised"
