New Capstone Biblically Informed Bond Fund expands values-aligned investing into the fixed-income market for Canadian Christian investors
LANGLEY, BC, Sept. 9, 2026 /CNW/ -- Today, Capstone Asset Management Inc. announced the launch of the Capstone Biblically Informed Bond Fund, a new fixed-income investment solution designed to help Canadian investors incorporate their Christian values into another important component of their portfolios.
The Fund is positioned as Canada's first prospectus mutual fund applying biblically informed research to fixed income, extending Capstone's established biblically informed investment approach beyond equities and into the bond market.
"For years, Christian investors have had to choose between pursuing their financial goals and investing according to their biblical convictions. We believe they shouldn't have to," said Glenn Murray, CEO and President of Capstone. "The Biblically Informed Bond Fund represents an important next step in our mission to help Canadian Christians invest with confidence that their portfolios reflect their values."
The Fund seeks to provide current income while preserving capital by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of fixed-income securities issued by corporations, trusts, and governments whose business activities are evaluated through Capstone's biblically informed investment research process.
Extending Biblically Informed Research to Fixed Income
The Capstone Biblically Informed Bond Fund applies Capstone's biblically informed research process to fixed-income investing. The approach is designed to look beyond traditional financial considerations by evaluating issuers through a framework grounded in biblical principles.
The Fund provides an opportunity for investors seeking a more values-aligned fixed-income solution and for financial advisors serving clients who want their Christian faith reflected across their entire investment portfolio.
"Biblically informed investing shouldn't stop when an investor moves from equities to fixed income," said Paul Carter, Capstone's Chief Investment Officer. "We believe investors should have the opportunity to apply the same thoughtful consideration of biblical values throughout their portfolios."
The Fund is designed for investors with a medium- to long-term investment horizon.
Building on Capstone's Biblically Informed Investment Approach
The new Fund builds on Capstone's broader commitment to biblically informed investing and expands the firm's ability to serve investors seeking to integrate their Christian convictions with their financial stewardship.
Capstone aims to provide investors with another tool for pursuing their financial objectives while remaining intentional about the companies and entities to which their capital is allocated, by bringing its biblically informed research process to fixed income.
