BARRIE, ON, Dec. 4, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Source today announced record Black Friday and Cyber Week sales and expectations for a busy December as the "I Want That" campaign highlights the best communications and consumer electronics products for the 2012 holiday season available at The Source.
Black Friday sales at The Source were up 39% compared to 2011, while online sales alone were up 47%. During Cyber Week, online sales surged 117%.
"In past years, Canadians didn't always shop north of the border on Black Friday Weekend, but record sales at The Source this year underline that Canadian consumers are now choosing to shop right here at home," said Charles Brown, President of The Source.
"We're seeing the surge continue as we enter the final weeks of what promises to be a very busy holiday shopping season. The Source's 'I Want That' campaign underlines that the best choices in communication and consumer electronics are available at any of the hundreds of The Source stores from coast to coast or online at TheSource.ca," said Mr. Brown.
The campaign promotes the hottest new communication and consumer electronics at The Source such as smartphones, portable audio/headphones, smart TVs, gaming, laptops and tablets, DSLR cameras, R/C toys, streaming audio and E-readers. To learn more, please visit TheSource.ca.
