CHICAGO, Aug. 15, 2014 /CNW/ - "WingMen" follows the unbelievable life of Rick, a high-energy entrepreneur and owner of a 100 store chicken wing chain. Rick is self-made, with his fingers in many pies and is always looking for the next deal. But what drives him is taking care of people around him which can occasionally work to his detriment. Rick's corporate office is more play than work and that's the way Rick likes it! But the company's incoming president is not that happy about it because he knows he's the one who is going to have to deal with it.

The show "WingMen" is produced by Rags to Rick Productions Inc., a 100% privately owned CANADIAN company, founded early 2013.
On August 16, 2014, the OWN network plans to release a show of its own entitled "WingMen".
In response to this announcement, Rags to Rick Productions Inc. is filing a complaint in U.S. Federal Court against OWN -- The Oprah Winfrey Network -- requesting that OWN respect Rags to Rick's intellectual property, specifically the trademark for the name "WingMen", owned by Rags to Rick Productions Inc., not only in the U.S. but also in CANADA out of concern for possible viewer and advertiser confusion in the marketplace.
"WingMen" is in talks with several networks in CANADA and the U.S. "WingMen" has been in production for over 18 months and production of all the episodes for season one is nearly complete.
