CANADA'S FIRST CERTIFICATE PROGRAM FOR SENIOR MEDIA MANAGERS LAUNCHES
(xx)The Canadian Journalism Foundation teams with Rotman School of
Management to develop Media Management Executive Education Program(xx)
The Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) has partnered with the Rotman
School of Management at the University of Toronto to create Canada's
first executive education program for senior managers in the media. The
three-day residential Media Management Executive Education Program
(MMEEP) will be held from October 23-25, 2009 at The Bank of Montreal's
Institute for Learning in Toronto. Space is limited, so if you're

application deadline is September 30.

Ira Basen, CBC writer and producer of "News 2.0: The Future of News in
the Age of Social Media", in a discussion on the state of journalism. The
