Canadian Easter Bunnies Breathe a Sigh of Relief over Nature's Bounty Giveaway!
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, April 17, 2014 /CNW/ - Nature's Bounty® Vitamins has announced the winners of its second annual 'Share the Bounty' $100,000 charity giveaway, and one of them even has a cotton tail connection, JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER!
This year's 2nd annual giveaway asked Canadians to nominate their favorite charities, and then vote for their favorites, in each of three established categories, "Animals and Earth", "For the Kids", and "Wellness."
The Grand Prize winners, listed below, will each receive $15,000 in cash:
- Animals and Earth category: Rabbit Rescue Incorporated, an organization dedicated to saving hundreds of rabbits and small pets from abandonment, neglect, illness or injury and inhumane conditions each year...They might have even rescued the Easter Bunny.
- For the Kids category: Windsor Kiwanis Charitable Trust, a small group of volunteers who work to raise the funds required to operate SUNSHINE POINT CAMP for boys & girls.
- Wellness category: H.I.A. Harmony in Action Windsor is an organization whose mission is to enrich the lives of adults living with developmental and/or physical challenges by providing opportunities to succeed.
Second and Third Place prizes were also given away in each category, with the winners receiving $10,000 and $5,000 each, respectively. Additionally, two nominated charitable organizations were selected by random drawing each week for 10 weeks, to receive a $500 donation from Nature's Bounty.
