Canada's Premier Musical Instrument EXPO & Live Music Festival

RICHMOND HILL, ON, April 24, 2018 /CNW/ - In celebration of Cosmo Music's 50th Anniversary, CosmoFEST 2018 is back for a fourth year. The festival will run at the Cosmo Music property on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Parking and admission to the event are free.

Main stage acts are returning favourite, BIG WRECK, Canadian icons APRIL WINE and KIM MITCHELL, as well as BIF NAKED, and guitar virtuoso, RICHIE KOTZEN. Appearing in the Cosmopolitan Music Hall for performance clinics are TOSIN ABASI, DOUG ALDRICH, BENNY GREB, RICHIE KOTZEN, GEORGE LYNCH, and JORDAN RUDESS. These intimate sessions are ticketed - only $15 per clinic. Artist "Meet n' Greets" will be happening throughout the day, with more artists and special guest appearances inside the EXPO tent.

New to the festival this year is the addition of RFID wristbands to allow visitors to enter contests quickly and accurately and provide a much more seamless experience throughout the festival day. Though visitors can register when they arrive on-site, it's best to register ahead of time. Not only does registering in advance help visitors accelerate through the line-up, but it also enters users into the $10,000 Cosmo Music gift card RSVP draws. Visitors can win one of 156 gift cards totalling to $10,000.

The EXPO Tent is larger this year, featuring 120+ brands with fantastic grand prizes, swag giveaways, and the opportunity to speak directly to the experts of their favourite brands. Visitors can enjoy the return of the popular Kidz Zone, Food Trucks, and Beer Garden.

CosmoFEST starts at 9:00 am, though it's best to arrive early to take advantage of the "Door Crasher" deals and an opening line-up gift card giveaway totalling to another $10,000.
