Canada's CFO of the Year(TM) 2010 nominations close in one week

TORONTO , Jan. 15 /CNW/ - Nominations for the 2010 Canada's CFO of the Year(TM) Award will close in one week, on January 22, 2010 . (Nomination packages are due by February 12 , 2010). Candidates, from any public or private business sector, may be nominated by CEOs, corporate directors, financial analysts and other senior executives.

The award is given annually by presenting sponsors Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada ), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) and The Caldwell Partners International. Now its eighth year, the award honours the quality, insight, direction and leadership of Canada's senior financial leaders.

An independent selection committee, chaired by Peter Dey and composed of some of Canada's most prominent business leaders, will select the 2010 award winner. The 2010 recipient of Canada's CFO of the Year(TM) Award will be honoured at a gala dinner May 6th, 2010 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto .
