Canada hosting 12th Annual International Generic Pharmaceutical Alliance
(IGPA) Conference - Montréal, September 30 - October 2, 2009
TORONTO, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - Canada is hosting the 12th Annual International Generic Pharmaceutical Alliance (IGPA) Conference in Montréal from September 30 through October 2, 2009, the first time the event has been held in Canada.
Originally founded in 1997, the IGPA works to represent the generic pharmaceutical industry on the world stage and to ensure governments, employers and patients have access to affordable medicines. This year's conference will be held at the new Westin Hotel in Montréal's historic Old Port area.
"The IGPA Conference has become the premier event for the international generic pharmaceutical industry.
