Canada Mortgage Acceptance Corporation Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Filing of Residential Funding Company, LLC

TORONTO, May 18, 2012 /CNW/ - Canada Mortgage Acceptance Corporation ("CMAC") announced today that Residential Funding Company, LLC ("RFC"), which is the backup servicer and reporting agent for its Series 2004-C2, Series 2006-C4 and Series 2006-C5 mortgage pass-through certificate transactions, has filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.

GMAC Residential Funding of Canada, Limited, the administrator under the above-mentioned transactions, is not part of the RFC Chapter 11 case.
