MISSISSAUGA, July 30 /CNW/ - UPS Canada (NYSE: UPS) is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement with the Canada Council of Teamsters has been ratified. This results in a new five-year agreement covering approximately 5,500 employees throughout Canada.
The provisions of the new agreement will commence on August 1, 2010, and will be in effect until July 31, 2015.

The new contract provides wage increases, significant enhancements to the pension plan as well as an increase in benefits.
