Calgary Mosque dispute resolved

TORONTO, Dec. 25 /CNW/ - Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada Inc. (AMJ) is pleased to announce that all post-construction payment disputes relating to its Calgary Mosque, inaugurated in July 2008, have been fully resolved to the satisfaction of all parties and having avoided a lengthy and costly legal process.

In this regard, all invoices, which were questioned by AMJ, have been withdrawn by Ellis Don who acted as the construction manager, and all contractors and sub-trades have received payment due to the release of funds reserved for this purpose held in escrow.

In addition, Ellis Don has withdrawn its claim made against the Project Director, Mr. Naseer Ahmad.
