Calgary Farmers' Market supports families in transition

The event is hosted in the early New Year, as many families find themselves enduring difficult times after the expenses and events related to the holidays. Connections with families are being made via the Bowwest Community Resource Centre, a community based one-stop shop that serves North West
Feed the Spirit is being held at the Bowness Sportsplex. Participants will receive a fresh, hot, hearty and healthy meal, catered by CFM vendors, as well as a variety of useful and important gifts. Children's activities and special entertainment will also be part of the evening.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to share this event with our clients," said Joshua McLeod, of Bowwest Community Resource Centre. "Giving them something to look forward to and enjoy is an important break from the daily challenges many of them currently face."
